Once again, wet and very cold weather greeted members and visiting runners for Week 12 of our Saturday afternoon activity .
However despite the wet and slippery track and heavy showers of rain, all participants performed extremely well, clocking up very pleasing times and collecting mud on their way !! Thank you for coping with the conditions and finishing your run or walk.
Just reminding members about Saturday 22nd. This is when Willandra and Victory Runners are hosting the Athletics NSW & Little Athletics State Cross Country Championships.
The first event starts at 11.00am and the last event starts at 3.00pm. We would love to see our young Victory members taking the opportunity to enter their age category event and participating. There is also an open 1k, 2k & 4k FunRun / Walk starting at 1:15pm for the majority of our members to join with the many visitors we will be welcoming. Full Program is available where you enter on NSW Website. ENTRIES close on Wednesday at 12:00pm
Please Note: If you intend to compete in the FunRun you must enter also for this as well as the Age Championship events.
All events are timed with a timing chip which is prepared for you when you enter and MUST be collected on Saturday well before the start time of your event !!
Finally, another reminder to all our lovely cooks. Victory Runners manage a cake stall which is extremely popular with our visitors. Any donations of your favourite ‘Goodies’ will be very welcome.
