Ideal weather conditions, despite a very well worn running track due to the Shoalhaven District Schools XC carnival on Friday.
The sections of mud however didn’t deter 5yr old Jai Burbage from breaking his own record for the 1k set last week. Great running Jai!
Congratulations to Annie Dziubinski who will represent the South Coast at her Schools State XC Carnival. Also well done to Layla and Cailin Burbage who placed 2nd & 7th. in the 8/9yrs District XC carnival on Friday to qualify for the Regional Carnival on 10th June at Willandra. Christine Wilson also earned a well done for placing 11th in the girls 3k distance event.
Runner of the week is Jon Schol who set himself a good time for the 8km distance. Cristne Suffolk, practising for Athletics NSW State XC on 18th June at Willandra managed to complete 6km in very wet conditions, under 30 minutes.
