Victory Runners experienced the normal very cold westerly winds at Willandra on Saturday 4th. July for Week 1 of the first activity for winter 2020.
However, the enjoyment of being able to meet together and run or walk around the various distances certainly warmed the hearts of all present.
Despite school holidays it was great to welcome many families and individuals who joined to celebrate the togetherness, while closely following the social distancing rule.
Congratulations to every competitor and a big thankyou for the effort displayed especially at the finish line. This indeed, as official timekeeper is a great privilege that has not been experienced for the past four months.
Bonus points to everyone! Well done and keep doing your best.
